The traditional Carousel is returning to Stable for the kids and all the family!

Stable on the Strand is proud to present – The Stable Beach Theatre – every evening from 6.30pm till 8:30pm, December 18th – 22nd.
Come and relax as the sun sets over Townsville and enjoy the beautiful backdrop of Cleveland Bay and the magnificent silhouette of Magnetic Island while being entertained with music and dance from Home –grown Talent, as well as performances from our close Pacific Neighbours.
Why not bring the whole family down to watch the Spectacular Fire Twirling, Fijian Dancers or listen to some Chill–out Tunes from Local Entertainers.

Perc Tucker Christmas Art Studio

Deck the halls with arts and crafts and celebrate all things Christmas at Gallery Services’ Christmas Art Studio.
This workshop will share the Christmas spirit through exciting, creative and FREE art activities for all ages!
Bring the whole family and join in with the Ransom Family, singing some well-loved Traditional Christmas Carols.
Every evening throughout the program, Paul, Sharon and their children will help us celebrate the Christmas Story in song. Best of all – everyone can join in!
Free Face Painting on the beach next to Stable Beach Theatre.
Shake the hand of our Big Head Festival Characters, make some bubbles,
and try juggling, walk the slackline, have a go with hula hoops at Circus Skills Corner.

Check out the Youth Hub at Stable on the Strand! Kick off your night with a giant scavenger hunt, map your way around the city of Bethlehem to win great prizes, hang out and play some giant jenga, check out the henna and tie dye tents, build your very own Candi Natvity Scene, or even get involved in our “Random Acts Of Kindness” game! and a cuppa (or some ice cold water) to sustain you through all the fun.
The Hospitality areas are also great viewing platforms for all the action happening
across the park including the Mater Health Services Stage.
