Away In A Manger

Away in a manger no crib for a bed
The little lord Jesus laid down his sweet head
The stars in the bright sky looked down where he lay
The little lord Jesus asleep on the hay.

The cattle are lowing the baby awakes
But little lord Jesus no crying he makes.
I love you lord Jesus; look down from the sky
And stay by my side until morning is nigh.

Be near me lord Jesus I ask you to stay
Close by me for ever, and love me, I pray.
Bless all the dear children in your tender care,
And fit us for heaven, to live with you there.

Silent Night

Silent Night Holy Night, All is calm, All is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child.
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace. Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, Holy night, Shepherds quake at the sight,
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing alleluia;
Christ the Savior, is born! Christ the Savior, is born!

Silent night, Holy night, Son of God, Love’s pure light
Radiant beams from thy holy face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth. Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.

The First Noel

The first Noel the angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay:
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel.

They looked up and saw a star,
Shining in the east beyond them far:
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel Born is the King of Israel.

Then entered in those wise men three,
Fell reverently upon their knee,
And offered there in his presence,
Their gold and myrrh and frankincense.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the kind of Israel.

Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord,
That hath made heaven and earth of naught,
And with his blood mankind has bought.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the King of Israel.

O Come All Ye Faithful

O come, all ye faithful, Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem.
Come and behold Him, Born the King of Angels;
O come, let us adore Him X3, Christ the Lord.

O Sing, choirs of angels, Sing in exultation,
Sing all ye citizens of heaven above.
Glory to God in the Highest;
O come, let us adore Him X3, Christ the Lord.

Yea Lord, we greet Thee, Born this happy morning,
Jesus to thee be glory given.
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing;
O come, let us adore Him X3, Christ the Lord.

Hark The Herald

Hark! the herald angels sing Glory to the newborn King
Peace on earth and mercy mild God and sinners reconcile.
Joyful all ye nations rise Join the triumph of the skies;
With the angelic host proclaim ‘Christ is born in Bethlehem’
Hark! the herald angels sing Glory to the newborn King.

Christ by highest heaven adored Christ the everlasting Lord
Late in time behold him come, Offspring of a virgin’s womb.
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see; Hail, the incarnate deity,
Pleased as Man with Man to dwell, Jesus, our Emmanuel!
Hark! the herald angels sing, Glory to the newborn King.

Hail, the heaven-born Prince of peace! Hail the Son of righteousness!
Light and life to all he brings, Risen with healing in his wings.
Mild he lays his glory by, Born that man no more may die,
Born to raise the sons of earth, Born to give them second birth.
Hark! the herald angels sing, Glory to the newborn King.

O Holy Night

O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!

Truly He taught us to love one another,
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother.
And in his name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
With all our hearts we praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we,
His power and glory ever more proclaim!
His power and glory ever more proclaim!
