Sr Sarah Puls is a Good Samaritan Sister and social worker who works with the Jesuit Refugee Service in Sydney as a caseworker supporting asylum seekers living in the community. Sarah also ministers in immigration detention as a pastoral volunteer.

Sr Sarah will provide an overview of the global context and the complex reality facing asylum seekers who come to Australia and share her experience of working with people who come seeking protection and a safe future for their families.
